Accounting Manager

You'll run the day-to-day accounting function for Peninsula Canada — owning the month-end close, keeping the controls tight and developing a small team as the business grows.

What you'll be doing

• Owning month-end and year-end close, including reconciliations and accruals.
• Preparing management accounts and supporting the annual audit.
• Managing and developing the accounts payable and receivable team.
• Maintaining internal controls and improving finance processes.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting.

What we're looking for

• CPA designation, or finalist with strong relevant experience.
• Solid full-cycle accounting experience, including month-end ownership.
• Experience managing or mentoring a small team.
• Advanced Excel and experience with a mid-market ERP or accounting system.
